Job Summary

To support a growing corporate development team, the full-time Business Development Associate will engage in lead generation, execute outreach campaigns, and manage the early stages of deal origination while working in a hybrid environment based in Columbia, MO.

Key responsibilities
  • Build and maintain a curated list of target companies and conduct market research to identify acquisition opportunities
  • Execute personalized outreach campaigns to engage potential business partners and track engagement metrics in CRM
  • Coordinate introductory meetings, manage the top-of-funnel pipeline, and support early deal conversations with prospective targets
Required qualifications
  • At least 1 year of experience in business development, corporate development, or a related field
  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, economics, or relevant industry experience
  • Hands-on experience managing pipelines and contact records in a CRM platform, preferably HubSpot
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct market research and synthesize findings into clear outputs
  • Self-starter mentality with the ability to work independently and manage outreach processes with minimal oversight
