Job Summary

To support a growing Corporate Development team, the full-time Business Development Associate will engage in lead generation, execute personalized outreach campaigns, and manage the top-of-funnel pipeline while working in a hybrid environment based in Columbia, MO.

Key responsibilities
  • Build and maintain a curated list of target companies aligned with strategic priorities and conduct market research for acquisition opportunities
  • Execute personalized outreach campaigns via email, LinkedIn, and phone to engage prospective targets and manage outreach sequences in CRM
  • Coordinate introductory calls and exploratory meetings, maintaining accurate records in the CRM and supporting early deal conversations
Required qualifications
  • At least 1 year of experience in business development, corporate development, or a related field
  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, or economics, or relevant industry experience in lieu of a formal degree
  • Hands-on experience managing pipelines and contact records in a CRM platform, with HubSpot strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct rigorous market research and synthesize findings into clear outputs
  • Self-starter mentality with the ability to own the outreach process independently
