Job Summary

To support a growing corporate development team, the full-time Business Development Associate will engage in lead generation, conduct market research, and manage outreach initiatives while working in a hybrid environment based in Columbia, MO.

Key responsibilities
  • Build and maintain a curated list of target companies aligned with strategic priorities and conduct market mapping to identify opportunities
  • Execute personalized outreach campaigns and manage engagement with prospective targets through various communication channels
  • Coordinate introductory calls and manage the top-of-funnel pipeline, ensuring a consistent flow of qualified opportunities to senior team members
Required qualifications
  • At least 1 year of experience in business development, corporate development, or a related field
  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, or economics, or relevant industry experience in lieu of a formal degree
  • Hands-on experience managing pipelines and contact records in a CRM platform, with HubSpot strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct rigorous market research and synthesize findings into clear outputs
  • Self-starter mentality with the ability to independently manage the outreach process with minimal oversight
