Job Summary
To support a growing Corporate Development team, the full-time Business Development Associate will engage in lead generation, conduct market research, and manage outreach efforts while working in a hybrid environment based in Columbia, MO.
Key responsibilities
- Build and maintain a curated list of target companies for strategic outreach and investment opportunities
- Execute personalized outreach campaigns to engage potential business partners and manage follow-up communications
- Coordinate introductory meetings and maintain accurate records in the CRM to ensure a consistent flow of qualified opportunities
Required qualifications
- At least 1 year of experience in business development or a related field
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, or economics, or relevant industry experience
- Hands-on experience managing pipelines in a CRM platform, preferably HubSpot
- Demonstrated ability to conduct market research and synthesize findings into clear outputs
- Self-starter mentality with the ability to work independently and manage outreach processes
