Job Summary

To support a growing corporate development team, the full-time Business Development Associate will focus on lead generation, outreach, and early deal conversations while working in a hybrid environment from Columbia, MO.

Key responsibilities
  • Build and maintain a curated list of target companies aligned with strategic priorities and conduct market research to identify opportunities
  • Execute personalized outreach campaigns and manage tracking of outreach sequences in CRM systems
  • Coordinate introductory calls and maintain accurate records of the pipeline, ensuring a consistent flow of qualified opportunities
Required qualifications
  • At least 1 year of experience in business development, corporate development, or a related field
  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, or economics, or relevant industry experience in lieu of a degree
  • Hands-on experience managing pipelines and contact records in a CRM platform, preferably HubSpot
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct rigorous market research and synthesize findings into clear outputs
  • Self-starter mentality with the capability to independently own the outreach process
