Job Summary

To support a growing Corporate Development team, the full-time Business Development Associate will identify and engage prospective targets, manage outreach campaigns, and coordinate meetings while working in a hybrid environment from Columbia, MO.

Key responsibilities
  • Build and maintain a curated list of target companies aligned with strategic priorities through lead generation and prospecting
  • Execute personalized outreach campaigns via email, LinkedIn, and phone to engage potential business partners
  • Schedule and prepare materials for meetings, managing the top-of-funnel pipeline and tracking deal stages in the CRM
Required qualifications
  • At least 1 year of experience in business development, corporate development, or a related field
  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, or economics; relevant industry experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
  • Hands-on experience managing pipelines and contact records in a CRM platform, preferably HubSpot
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct market research and synthesize findings into clear outputs
  • Self-starter mentality with the ability to independently manage the outreach process with minimal oversight
