Job Summary
To support a growing corporate development team, the full-time Business Development Associate will engage in lead generation, outreach, and pipeline management while working in a hybrid environment based in Columbia, MO.
Key responsibilities
- Build and maintain a curated list of target companies and conduct market research to identify acquisition opportunities
- Execute personalized outreach campaigns and manage communication with prospective targets while tracking engagement in CRM
- Coordinate meetings and prepare materials for senior team members, ensuring accurate pipeline management and reporting
Required qualifications
- At least 1 year of experience in business development, corporate development, or a related field
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, or economics, or relevant industry experience in lieu of a degree
- Hands-on experience managing pipelines and contact records in a CRM platform, preferably HubSpot
- Demonstrated ability to conduct market research and synthesize findings into clear outputs
- Self-starter mentality with the ability to work independently and manage outreach processes with minimal oversight
