Job Summary
To support a growing corporate development team, the full-time Business Development Associate will manage lead generation, outreach, and early deal conversations while working in a hybrid environment from Columbia, MO.
Key responsibilities
- Build and maintain a curated list of target companies and conduct market research to identify acquisition opportunities
- Execute personalized outreach campaigns to engage potential business partners and manage outreach sequences in CRM
- Coordinate meetings and maintain accurate records of the pipeline, tracking deal stages and preparing materials for senior team members
Required qualifications
- At least 1 year of experience in business development or corporate development
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, or economics, or relevant industry experience
- Hands-on experience managing pipelines in a CRM platform, preferably HubSpot
- Demonstrated ability to conduct rigorous market research and synthesize findings
- Self-starter mentality with the ability to work independently and manage outreach processes
