Job Summary
To support a growing corporate development team, the full-time Business Development Associate will manage lead generation, execute outreach campaigns, and coordinate meeting schedules while working in a hybrid environment based in Columbia, MO.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain a curated list of target companies aligned with strategic priorities through market research and industry tracking
- Execute personalized outreach campaigns to engage prospective targets and manage follow-up sequences in CRM
- Coordinate introductory calls and maintain accurate records of deal stages and contact history in the CRM
Required Qualifications
- At least 1 year of experience in business development, corporate development, or a related field
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, or economics, or relevant industry experience
- Hands-on experience managing pipelines and contact records in a CRM platform, preferably HubSpot
- Demonstrated ability to conduct rigorous market research and synthesize findings into clear outputs
- Self-starter mentality with the ability to independently own the outreach process with minimal oversight
