Job Summary
To support a growing corporate development team, the full-time Business Development Associate will engage in lead generation, outreach, and pipeline management while working in a hybrid environment from Columbia, MO.
Key responsibilities
- Build and maintain a curated list of target companies and conduct market research to identify acquisition opportunities
- Execute personalized outreach campaigns to engage potential business partners and manage communication through CRM tools
- Coordinate meetings, maintain pipeline records, and participate in early deal conversations to assess strategic fit
Required qualifications
- At least 1 year of experience in business development or a related field
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, or economics, or relevant industry experience
- Hands-on experience managing pipelines in a CRM platform, with HubSpot preferred
- Demonstrated ability to conduct market research and synthesize findings into clear outputs
- Self-starter mentality with strong written communication skills for crafting outreach materials
