Job Summary
To support the Corporate Development team, the full-time Business Development Associate will engage in lead generation, execute outreach campaigns, and manage the pipeline of prospective targets while working in a hybrid environment from Columbia, MO.
Key responsibilities
- Build and maintain a curated list of target companies aligned with strategic priorities and conduct market research to identify opportunities
- Execute personalized outreach campaigns to engage potential business partners and track engagement metrics in CRM
- Coordinate meetings, manage pipeline records, and participate in early deal conversations to assess strategic fit
Required qualifications
- At least 1 year of experience in business development, corporate development, or a related field
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, or economics, or relevant industry experience
- Hands-on experience managing pipelines in a CRM platform, preferably HubSpot
- Demonstrated ability to conduct market research and synthesize findings into clear outputs
- Self-starter mentality with the ability to work independently and manage outreach processes
