Job Summary

As part of the Corporate Development team, the full-time Business Development Associate will focus on lead generation, outreach, and pipeline management to identify and engage prospective targets for strategic transactions, working in a hybrid environment from Columbia, MO.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain a curated list of target companies aligned with strategic priorities and conduct market research for acquisition opportunities
  • Execute personalized outreach campaigns to engage founders and executives, managing follow-ups and tracking response rates in CRM
  • Coordinate meetings and maintain accurate pipeline records, ensuring a consistent flow of qualified opportunities to senior team members
Required Qualifications
  • At least 1 year of experience in business development, corporate development, or a related field
  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, or economics; relevant industry experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
  • Hands-on experience managing pipelines and contact records in a CRM platform, with HubSpot preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct market research and synthesize findings into clear outputs
  • Self-starter mentality with the ability to manage outreach processes independently
