Job Summary
To support a growing corporate development team, the full-time Business Development Associate will manage lead generation, outreach campaigns, and pipeline coordination while working in a hybrid environment from Columbia, MO.
Key responsibilities
- Build and maintain a curated list of target companies and conduct market research to identify acquisition opportunities
- Execute personalized outreach campaigns and manage follow-ups in CRM, iterating strategies based on performance data
- Coordinate meetings, maintain accurate records in the CRM, and support early deal conversations and due diligence efforts
Required qualifications
- At least 1 year of experience in business development, corporate development, or a related field
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, or economics, or relevant industry experience
- Hands-on experience managing pipelines and contact records in a CRM platform, preferably HubSpot
- Demonstrated ability to conduct rigorous market research and synthesize findings into clear outputs
- Self-starter mentality with strong written communication skills for crafting compelling outreach materials
