Business Development Associate

Job Summary

To support the growth of clinical research, the full-time Business Development Associate will generate new business by managing a portfolio of Pharmaceutical and Contract Research Organization (CRO) clients, focusing on study lead prospecting, trial management, and converting opportunities into awards in a fully remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop relationships with potential prospects to generate outbound lead opportunities
• Manage and convert study leads into opportunities while following the company's prospecting workflows
• Collaborate with internal teams to effectively communicate and secure site awards for clinical studies

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Life Sciences, or a related field is preferred
• 1 to 3 years of experience in Business Development, Sales, Marketing, or customer-facing roles is preferred
• Proven experience in prospecting and managing opportunities through to closure
• Ability to create compelling presentations that address client needs
• General understanding of the clinical research and pharmaceutical market
