Job Summary
To support a growing corporate development team, the full-time Business Development Associate will engage in lead generation, outreach, and pipeline management while working in a hybrid remote environment from Columbia, MO.
Key responsibilities
- Build and maintain a curated list of target companies and conduct market research to identify acquisition opportunities
- Execute personalized outreach campaigns to engage prospective targets and manage outreach sequences in CRM
- Coordinate meetings and maintain accurate records in the CRM, ensuring a consistent flow of qualified opportunities to senior team members
Required qualifications
- At least 1 year of experience in business development, corporate development, or a related field
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, or economics, or relevant industry experience in lieu of a formal degree
- Hands-on experience managing pipelines and contact records in a CRM platform, with preference for HubSpot
- Demonstrated ability to conduct rigorous market research and synthesize findings into clear outputs
- Self-starter mentality with the ability to work independently and manage outreach processes with minimal oversight
