Job Summary
The full-time Business Development Associate will engage in lead generation, outreach, and pipeline management while working in a hybrid environment from Columbia, MO, to support the Corporate Development team in identifying and advancing prospective business opportunities.
Key responsibilities
- Build and maintain a curated list of target companies and conduct market research to identify acquisition and partnership opportunities
- Execute personalized outreach campaigns and manage follow-ups using CRM tools, particularly HubSpot
- Coordinate meetings and maintain accurate records of pipeline status, ensuring a consistent flow of qualified opportunities
Required qualifications
- At least 1 year of experience in business development, corporate development, or a related field
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, or economics, or relevant industry experience
- Hands-on experience managing pipelines in a CRM platform, with a preference for HubSpot
- Demonstrated ability to conduct market research and synthesize findings into clear outputs
- Self-starter mentality with the ability to work independently and manage outreach processes
