Business Development Associate

Job Summary

Seeking a motivated Business Development Associate for a full-time remote position, responsible for researching and generating new business leads through cold calling and email campaigns, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet business development goals.

Key responsibilities

• Handle inbound leads from various marketing channels and qualify them for further engagement
• Utilize tools to research leads and record interactions in the CRM system
• Collaborate with marketing and business development teams to develop messaging and ensure leads are opportunity-ready

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related field
• 2-3 years of experience in an Inside Sales function or customer-facing role, preferably in a technical capacity
• Prior experience in the pharmaceutical or CDMO industry is preferred
• Knowledge of cGMP and drug development processes
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in CRM systems like Salesforce
