Job Summary
To support regional growth, the full-time salaried Business Development Director will identify opportunities, build relationships with prospective clients, and advance the sales process while working remotely from Florida, Alabama, or Georgia.
Key responsibilities
- Support BD Managers in developing territory plans and provide coaching on client engagement
- Generate leads, maintain industry relationships, and identify strategic partners for business development
- Contribute to national BD strategy by applying regional insights and engaging in proposal development
Required qualifications
- 12+ years of experience in the energy efficiency industry with a Bachelor's degree; or 10+ years with an MBA
- Proven ability to lead major business development efforts and contribute to national strategies
- Extensive knowledge of energy industry trends and regulatory developments
- Experience in developing advanced business development concepts and practices
- Ability to serve as a subject matter expert within the organization
