Business Development Director

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director of Business Development.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with government clients to identify and cultivate opportunities
• Prepare and maintain account and opportunity development plans, securing management approval
• Negotiate with internal and external teammates in coordination with the capture/proposal team

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science/engineering or equivalent with 5+ years of federal government experience preferred
• Knowledge of Federal procurement policies and practices
• Ability to conceptualize and develop solutions specific to client requirements
• Must be based in the National Capital Region (NCR)
• Experience in marketing, selling, and developing business in the federal space
