A company is looking for a Business Development Director - Climate.

Key Responsibilities

• Close new climate revenue through corporate, philanthropic, and public-sector contracts
• Manage a qualified pipeline in HubSpot and mentor a Business Development Associate
• Cultivate relationships with government agencies, foundations, and corporate sustainability leads

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's and advanced degree in public policy, business, environmental science, economics, or related field
• At least 10 years of experience in business development, consulting, or strategic partnerships in climate or economic development sectors
• Proven ability to secure $5-10M+ annually in funding from various partners
• Strong familiarity with the U.S. climate funding landscape and major climate-focused foundations
• Experience with CRM systems and AI-enhanced tools for research and outreach
