Business Development Director

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Business Development Director, Insights.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and qualify new business opportunities among pharma/biotech companies needing real-world evidence and medical communications
• Cultivate relationships with key decision-makers to understand their needs and position the agency's services
• Lead the development of tailored proposals, RFP responses, and pitch presentations for real-world insights

Required Qualifications

• Advanced degree (PhD, MD, MPH, MS, PharmD) strongly preferred
• Extensive experience in business development roles within medical communications or pharmaceutical communications agencies
• Experience in client-facing roles and pharma-sponsored HCP engagements is essential
• Demonstrable track record of generating new business and building long-term client relationships
• Strong strategic thinking and commercial acumen with scientific literacy in life sciences or healthcare
