Job Summary
Leading growth efforts within the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), the remote/hybrid Business Development & Capture Director will identify, qualify, and capture new business opportunities while managing the full capture lifecycle and collaborating with internal teams and stakeholders.
Key responsibilities
- Manage the full Business Development Life Cycle (BDLC), from opportunity identification through proposal submission
- Lead capture strategies including teaming, pricing, staffing, and solution development
- Respond to RFIs, Sources Sought, and RFPs, ensuring compliance and timely delivery
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in federal business development and capture within CMS/HHS
- 3+ years of experience in proposal solutioning and writing
- Proven experience with CMS business operations and federal acquisition processes
- Bachelor's degree in business, Engineering, IT, or related field (MBA preferred)
- Familiarity with Shipley BD processes and tools
