Job Summary
Supporting regional growth, the full-time salaried Business Development Director will identify opportunities, build relationships with prospective clients, and advance the sales process while working remotely from Tennessee, South Carolina, or North Carolina.
Key responsibilities
- Support BD Managers in developing territory plans and provide coaching on client engagement
- Generate leads and maintain industry relationships to stay current on market trends
- Contribute to national BD strategy through regional insights and participate in proposal development
Required qualifications
- Experience in the energy efficiency industry is required
- 12+ years of experience with a Bachelor's degree or 10+ years with an MBA
- Demonstrated ability to lead major business development efforts
- Expertise in developing advanced business development concepts and practices
- Ability to provide national market insights and contribute to national BD strategy
