Job Summary

As a senior commercial force in the life sciences market, the full-time remote Associate Director/Director Business Development will lead strategic new business initiatives for a SaaS data and analytics platform, engaging with senior stakeholders in pharma and biotech to drive high-value sales cycles and build essential client relationships.

Key responsibilities
  • Own and drive significant new commercial opportunities across pharma and biotech, managing complex sales cycles from initial contact to contract closure
  • Invest in understanding clients' R&D and data strategies, positioning the platform as a critical scientific partner rather than just a vendor
  • Provide strategic market intelligence to influence the go-to-market approach and enhance platform positioning
Required qualifications
  • Proven track record in senior-level SaaS, digital health, or enterprise technology sales within pharma or biotech
  • Experience engaging with R&D and research departments in major pharmaceutical companies
  • Strong working knowledge of genetics or genomics relevant to advanced genetic analytics
  • Strategic thinker with a focus on market positioning and client engagement
  • Degree in life sciences, business, or a related field; an advanced degree is a plus
