Business Development Intern

Job Summary

Supporting the front-end business development efforts for Indo-Pacific programs, the part-time SkillBridge Business Development Intern will assist in account planning, market research, and opportunity tracking under the guidance of the Senior Account Manager, while gaining valuable exposure to private-sector defense business development and capture strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Support INDOPACOM account planning, market research, and opportunity tracking for business development pursuits
• Assist in developing pursuit briefs, meeting preparation materials, and customer engagement summaries
• Participate in internal business development meetings and capture discussions to gain insights into the pursuit lifecycle

Required qualifications

• Current transitioning service member approved or eligible for participation in the DoD SkillBridge program
• Experience supporting military operations, logistics, or joint/coalition planning
• Familiarity with the INDOPACOM area of responsibility
• Experience preparing executive-level briefs or operational summaries for senior leaders
• Willingness to engage in structured internship activities related to business development and capture management
