Job Summary
Driving growth in the pharma and biotech market, the full-time Business Development Lead will identify and close new business opportunities, build client relationships, and collaborate internally while working in a hybrid environment from the RTP office or fully remote on the East Coast.
Key responsibilities
- Identify, qualify, develop, and close opportunities in the pharma and biotech sectors
- Build trusted relationships with clients' R&D and data teams, ensuring engagement throughout the sales process
- Maintain an accurate sales pipeline in the CRM and contribute to forecasting and reporting
Required qualifications
- Experience in SaaS or enterprise technology sales within the pharma or biotech industry
- Familiarity with research or R&D teams in pharma or biotech environments
- Interest in genetics or genomics, supported by academic or professional experience
- Strong presentation skills for mixed scientific and commercial audiences
- A degree in life sciences, business, or a related field
