Job Summary

To support a growing legal practice, the full-time Independent Contractor Business Development Manager will work remotely to develop and execute business development plans, manage client relationship management systems, and coordinate marketing materials while collaborating closely with senior partners.

Key responsibilities
  • Develop, maintain, and execute business development plans while tracking progress and holding partners accountable
  • Manage and update the firm's deal credentials and capability statements, ensuring materials are current and ready for pitches
  • Identify and research target clients and market opportunities, providing proactive ideas and intelligence to partners
Required qualifications
  • Proven experience in a business development role at a law firm, with a strong understanding of the professional services environment
  • Manager-level experience with a track record of independently driving business development programs
  • Exceptional organizational skills and a task-oriented mindset
  • Experience in corporate or transactional practice group business development
  • Hands-on experience using AI to enhance business development workflows and client intelligence
