Job Summary
Seeking a self-directed Business Development Manager for a fully remote position, responsible for owning the Mid-Atlantic territory by prospecting, developing relationships, and managing the sales process from discovery to close within the life sciences sector.
Key responsibilities
- Manage the full-cycle sales process, from initial outreach to closing deals
- Develop and maintain relationships with biotech, pharma, and research-oriented clients in the Mid-Atlantic region
- Engage with scientific stakeholders, leveraging prior lab or research experience to establish credibility
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of full-cycle sales experience in life sciences or related fields
- Proven track record of net-new business development and pipeline generation
- Existing network within biotech, pharma, diagnostics, or CROs in the Mid-Atlantic market
- Experience in consultative sales environments with complex solution offerings
- Prior experience in lab or research settings is preferred
