Job Summary

Generating and developing new business within the property and builders risk lines, the full-time remote Business Development Manager will maximize profitability through agency management, anticipate broker needs, and communicate underwriting strategies.

Key responsibilities
  • Leverage business relationships and product knowledge to maximize opportunities for new business and retention
  • Manage agency/brokerage relationships, including prospecting and evaluating contracts to strengthen distribution
  • Analyze market trends and implement proactive strategies to generate qualified business opportunities
Required qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • 7-10 years of experience in the insurance industry and/or business development
  • Experience in property or builders risk preferred
  • Desirable experience with independent agencies/brokerages or business development within the insurance industry
  • CPCU designation preferred
