Job Summary
Directing the day-to-day execution for a defined segment of the sales organization, the full-time remote Business Development Manager will focus on closing business among prospect accounts and managing a team of Business Development Managers.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations and performance of a team of Business Development Managers
- Develop and implement strategies to close business with prospective accounts
- Act as a regional or segment sales leader, guiding individual contributor sales representatives
Required qualifications
- Proven experience in sales management or business development
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team
- Experience in developing sales strategies and executing business plans
- Knowledge of market trends and customer needs in the relevant industry
- Ability to analyze sales performance metrics and adjust strategies accordingly
