Job Summary
To lead business development activities in assigned sales territories, the full-time Business Development Manager will manage direct sales, conduct market research, and provide customer support while working fully remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Manage technical analysis of customer applications, evaluate RFQs, and prepare sales forecasts
- Plan and coordinate travel for company staff to support customer activities and resolve issues
- Conduct market research to identify new channels and opportunities for revenue growth
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Physics preferred
- 4-6+ years of sales experience in technical sales or business development within a research/scientific market
- Preferred: 4+ years of experience in capital equipment or OEM sales
