Job Summary

To drive customer loyalty and achieve business development goals, the full-time Business Development Manager will proactively generate leads through outbound calls, re-solicit past business, and ensure timely lead turnover to sales teams while working in a hybrid environment.

Key responsibilities
  • Achieves outbound calling targets and ensures customer satisfaction by soliciting new accounts and business opportunities
  • Collaborates with sales teams to coordinate efforts and maintain accurate lead information for reporting
  • Utilizes negotiation skills to convert cold leads into warm leads and effectively handles customer inquiries
Required qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED with 2 years of experience in guest services, sales, or related fields, or a 2-year degree in Business Administration or a related major
  • Preferred 4-year college degree
  • Experience in proactive lead generation
  • Knowledge of property-specific business segments such as group and catering
  • Familiarity with Marriott and the hospitality industry
