Job Summary
To help build and scale a merchant partnership ecosystem, the remote Business Development Manager will identify, engage, negotiate, and close high-value brand and retailer partnerships, focusing on product feed integrations and monetization opportunities.
Key responsibilities
- Identify and prioritize high-value merchants aligned with consumer demand and category strategy
- Build and manage a high-velocity pipeline, driving deals from initial meetings to contract signing
- Develop and improve the merchant acquisition process, including outreach templates and pipeline reporting
Required qualifications
- 5-8+ years in business development or partnerships, preferably with retailers or commerce platforms
- Experience negotiating commercial partnerships and coordinating cross-functional onboarding
- Familiarity with product feeds, affiliate programs, and eCommerce technologies
- Proven ability to manage multiple partnership opportunities simultaneously
- Comfortable operating in ambiguity and building processes in an early-stage startup environment
