Job Summary
A company is looking for a Business Development Representative to support federal growth across the U.S. Air Force and Department of Defense market.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct market research to identify federal opportunities aligned with services in DevSecOps, software engineering, cloud, AI/ML, and cybersecurity
- Engage in outbound outreach to prospective Air Force and DoD customers, scheduling meetings and managing follow-ups
- Maintain and update the federal opportunity pipeline using CRM tools, tracking customer contacts and opportunity status
Required Qualifications
- 0-2 years of experience in business development, sales, or customer outreach roles
- Comfortable making outbound calls and emails to prospective customers
- Organized and self-directed, able to manage work independently
- Curious and eager to learn about federal business development
- Familiarity with tools such as Google Workspace and CRM platforms
