Job Summary
As a key driver of growth, the full-time remote Business Development Representative will identify, connect with, and qualify potential partners, including Democratic campaigns and progressive organizations, to promote Civitech's tools for enhancing civic engagement and electoral success.
Key responsibilities
- Proactively research and identify potential partners aligned with Civitech's mission through multi-channel outreach strategies
- Conduct initial discovery calls to understand partner needs and qualify leads for the sales pipeline
- Collaborate with the sales team to refine outreach strategies and track all communication in the CRM system
Required qualifications
- 1-3 years of experience in business development, sales development, or a similar client-facing role
- Hands-on experience in prospecting and lead generation, utilizing various outreach methods
- Proficiency in conducting discovery conversations to assess partnership potential
- Experience managing a pipeline using a CRM system like Salesforce or HubSpot
- Commitment to leveraging technology for progressive causes and civic participation
