Job Summary
Working remotely on a flexible basis, the Business Development Representative will leverage their professional network to generate investor referrals, book calls, and attend startup events while focusing on building relationships with accredited investors.
Key responsibilities
- Reach out to personal networks to ask for referrals to accredited investors
- Attend startup events to engage potential investors and secure introductions
- Qualify leads and schedule calls with prospects for further discussions
Required qualifications
- Existing professional network that includes or can reach US Accredited Investors
- Comfortable asking for referrals and initiating conversations
- Self-starter capable of generating their own activity from relationships
- Strong communication skills, both clear and persuasive
- No prior investor relations experience required
