Job Summary
Identifying and qualifying sales opportunities within the federal, state, local, and education markets, the full-time Business Development Representative Fed/SLED will follow up on leads from events and conduct proactive outreach to engage new contacts, all while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Quickly follow up with leads generated from events, webinars, and partner programs
- Qualify leads by assessing business needs, timelines, and decision-making processes
- Conduct outbound prospecting to uncover new opportunities within target accounts
Required qualifications
- Experience in business development, lead qualification, or outbound prospecting
- Familiarity with the Fed/SLED market and public sector buying environments
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple lead sources
- Experience using CRM and sales engagement tools for tracking performance
- A self-starter mindset with high accountability and resilience
