Job Summary
Driving growth for Kaplan Advising, the full-time Business Development Representative (One-on-One Advising) will generate and qualify leads, engage prospective families through proactive outreach, and build a strong pipeline for the advising sales team in a remote setting.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct high-volume outbound prospecting via phone, email, and other channels to engage prospective families
- Qualify inbound leads from various sources to assess fit, intent, and readiness for consultations
- Maintain accurate records in CRM systems and meet activity and outcome targets to contribute to revenue goals
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, Education, or a related field
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a sales development, inside sales, or customer engagement role
- Comfort with high-volume outreach including cold calling and email prospecting
- Working knowledge of CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales engagement tools
- Resilience and a growth mindset with the ability to handle objections and rejection
