Job Summary
Driving the sales pipeline, the full-time Business Development Representative will prospect and engage K-12 school districts across the country, utilizing modern sales tools in a remote environment to generate new opportunities and book meetings for the sales team.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and generate opportunities within target K-12 school districts to drive a qualified sales pipeline
- Build and implement outreach sequences, including cold calling and social selling, to create new leads
- Make 50+ calls per day to understand customer needs and objectives, while tracking progress towards goals
Required Qualifications
- 1-3 years of direct sales experience or relevant coursework
- Food service experience is a plus
- Proven ability to meet or exceed sales quotas
- Strong prospecting skills with the ability to gather necessary information for sales success
- Familiarity with Salesforce and other sales technologies
