Job Summary
Proactively engaging with potential clients, the full-time remote Business Development Representative will focus on lead generation, cold outreach, and qualifying leads to drive revenue growth for funeral homes.
Key responsibilities:
- Identify and research potential clients through various channels, including online research and social media
- Conduct outreach via email, phone, and social media to introduce products and services to prospects
- Assess the needs of prospects to qualify leads and schedule meetings or demos for the sales team
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred but not required)
- Tenacity to persevere through challenging situations and achieve goals
- Empathy to connect with potential customers about their business challenges
- Curiosity to learn about customers' businesses and pain points
- No prior sales experience needed, although 2 years of post-grad work experience in customer service, retail, or hospitality is a plus
