Job Summary
To support a mission-driven culture, the full-time Business Development Representative will research and identify new business opportunities, connect with prospects through various outreach methods, and engage decision-makers to articulate the value of services, all while working remotely from anywhere in the United States.
Key responsibilities
- Research and identify new business opportunities in school districts and relevant organizations
- Apply sales development best practices through email, phone, and social outreach to connect with new prospects
- Engage with prospects to articulate the value proposition and record outreach using CSM tools like HubSpot or Salesforce
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 1-2 years of experience in business development or 4-5 years in the classroom
- Prior experience in business development, sales, or account management
- High level of comfort making cold calls
- Demonstrated ability to achieve and exceed program targets
