Business Development Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Business Development Specialist (Water) to support growth in the water markets across Arizona, Utah, and New Mexico.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess regional water and wastewater markets by analyzing public utility capital improvement programs, funding sources, and delivery approaches
• Identify and qualify near- and mid-term opportunities aligned with the company's strengths in collaborative delivery and treatment programs
• Partner with the Division Manager to prioritize target clients and pursuits, focusing resources for competitive advantage

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Planning, or a related field and 10+ years of relevant experience or equivalent education and experience
• Experience supporting water, wastewater, conveyance, treatment, or PFAS-related programs
• Experience in business development or market strategy within the water and wastewater sector
• Working knowledge of public agency procurement and capital programs
• Familiarity with Southwest U.S. water markets and public utility clients
