Job Summary
To drive growth in the West Coast marketplace, the full-time Business Development Team Lead will identify and build long-term partnerships in the events industry while managing and mentoring a high-performing business development team from a remote location, requiring residence in Los Angeles, San Diego, or San Francisco.
Key responsibilities
- Identify, develop, and establish long-term relationships with partners in the events and experiences sector
- Manage, mentor, and develop the West Coast Business Development team while setting clear targets and tracking KPIs
- Proactively source event producers and venue operators to enhance inventory on the platform
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in business development, partnerships, or experiential marketing
- Strong understanding of the West Coast live events landscape
- Proven experience in negotiating revenue share deals
- Experience in managing and mentoring a team
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a focus on relationship-building and data-driven decision-making
