Business Encounter Data Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Business Encounter Data Analyst.

Key Responsibilities:

• Compile and analyze encounter data to ensure compliance with CMS and State SLAs
• Resolve data/system issues and improve productivity and accuracy of claims data
• Support business processes, workflows, and regulatory requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent combination of training and experience
• 5+ years experience in a managed healthcare environment
• 5+ years experience with encounter data operations, claims processing, and provider billing
• 3+ years of claim coding and billing processes
• Advanced knowledge of HIPAA transaction regulations and 837 EDI standards
