Business English Coach
Job Summary
Delivering 1:1 business English coaching sessions to senior professionals remotely, the contract Business English Coach will work with advanced learners from Japan, focusing on real-world scenarios such as meetings, presentations, and negotiations while personalizing content from a provided library.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct 50-minute coaching sessions over Zoom, tailoring content to each learner's professional needs
- Provide actionable post-session feedback and track learner progress to adjust coaching paths
- Engage with learners on pronunciation, grammar, fluency, and professional writing specific to business contexts
Required qualifications
- Four or more years of experience in 1:1 business or executive English coaching for working professionals
- Master's degree in TESOL, Applied Linguistics, Education, or Business Communication, or equivalent professional experience
- Strong command of English pronunciation and professional writing conventions
- Ability to model General American English pronunciation and idiomatic business usage
- Availability for regular sessions during JST business hours
