Business Information Security Officer

Job Summary

Serving as the senior information security partner within designated business units, the full-time remote Business Information Security Officer will align cybersecurity strategies with organizational goals, manage risks, and foster a strong security culture while collaborating with diverse stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute cybersecurity strategies that align with business objectives and regulatory requirements
• Serve as the primary liaison between business units, the CISO, and the Information Security and Risk Management team
• Coordinate incident response efforts and conduct post-incident reviews to enhance preparedness

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and 10+ years of experience in Information Security, Cybersecurity, or a related field; or a master's degree and 9 years of experience
• Demonstrable experience as a senior information security executive
• Experience in liaising and advising executives and key stakeholders on security matters
• Deep knowledge of information security management frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST CSF) and regulatory compliance requirements
• Possession of CISSP, CISM, CRISC, CISA certifications, or at least two of these credentials
