Business Intelligence Analyst

Job Summary

Supporting an analytics platform on Google Cloud Platform and Tableau, the contract-to-hire Business Intelligence Analyst will manage production data stability, maintain dashboards and reports, and assist with light migration from legacy SQL platforms into BigQuery.

Key responsibilities

• Create, maintain, and update BigQuery tables and datasets while supporting table migrations from legacy platforms
• Build and maintain Tableau dashboards on BigQuery datasets, ensuring refresh stability and performance
• Monitor scheduled ingestion jobs, troubleshoot failures, and provide clear status updates on production support tasks

Required qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience in BI, analytics, or data engineering support
• Strong SQL skills with BigQuery experience required; exposure to Hive/Presto is a plus
• Hands-on experience with BigQuery (GCP) and Tableau dashboard development
• Experience in data validation and reconciliation in production reporting
• Familiarity with Tableau migration processes is advantageous
