Business Intelligence Analyst

Job Summary

To advance enterprise data cataloging and governance, the full-time salaried Business Intelligence Analyst will work remotely to profile datasets, define quality rules, validate data lineage, and produce governance reports while collaborating with various stakeholders in the NAVSUP AWS GovCloud environment.

Key responsibilities

• Profile prioritized datasets and develop data-quality rules, scorecards, and improvement reporting
• Validate end-to-end data lineage and metadata completeness while documenting findings and remediation actions
• Create and maintain governance and quality reports, dashboards, and training materials for ongoing monitoring

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in data analytics, information systems, computer science, or a related field preferred
• 3-5 years of experience with Power BI and hands-on data profiling, data-quality rules, and metadata management
• Working knowledge of SQL, relational data, data warehouses, and ETL concepts
• Experience collaborating with data owners and stewards to resolve data and metadata issues
• U.S. citizenship and ability to meet Navy onboarding and background investigation requirements
