Business Intelligence Developer

Job Summary

Supporting the Integrated Healthcare Transformation initiative at the Department of Veterans Affairs, the fully remote Business Intelligence Developer will analyze data using advanced algorithms, create data pipelines, and present insights to inform strategic decision-making for government infrastructure projects.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement data collection tools to ensure data integrity and confidence
• Create data pipelines using Python SQL and/or Azure Data Factory to process large datasets
• Develop visualizations and reports to communicate complex findings to stakeholders

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Health Informatics, or a related field
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in data analysis, preferably in a healthcare or federal environment
• Proficiency in statistical software and programming languages such as Python, R, or SAS
• Strong experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Qlik
• Familiarity with VHA systems and data repositories, including CDW and VistA
