Business Intelligence Developer

Job Summary

To support the continuous improvement of Department of Veteran Affairs auditing processes, the full-time remote Business Intelligence and Power Platform Developer will lead the design, development, and enhancement of business intelligence solutions utilizing Microsoft Power Platform and related technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Designs and develops ad-hoc applications, dashboards, reports, and datasets using MS Power BI
• Coordinates with stakeholders to gather requirements and develops technical documentation for quality assurance testing
• Provides Tier 2 and 3 support to end users through ticketing protocols and manages SharePoint Online solutions

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field
• At least 3 years of experience with Power BI, MS Power Platform, and SharePoint development
• Proficient in developing and maintaining Power BI dashboards and reports
• Experience with SQL and connecting applications to various data sources
• Knowledge of cybersecurity controls and compliance
